Release Highlights – 8th Dec 2025
Share rich media over SMS/MMS without delivery failures—even when files are too large or unsupported.
If your team shares brochures, images, forms, or customer documents through Campaigns or Converse Desk, you can now deliver large or unsupported files more reliably using click-to-access links—so customers still receive the content and conversations keep moving.
How It Works in Conversive
- Automatic link generation for large or unsupported files:
When a file exceeds the MMS channel limit or uses an unsupported format, Conversive securely uploads it and instantly generates a shareable link.
- Short link support:
If your account has a short-link license and shortened URLs are enabled by an admin, the file link is automatically shortened before sending.
- Configurable link expiry:
Admins can set link validity for 7, 14, 21, or 28 days, or choose a custom duration. Once the link expires, recipients see a clear message (e.g., “This file is no longer available”).
- Recipient-friendly access:
Recipients can download files directly without any login, unless your organization has enabled restricted access.
- Uploads replace unsupported attachments:
For MMS and SMS channels, oversized or unsupported files are no longer sent as attachments—Conversive automatically switches to link-sharing.
- Improved error handling:
If an upload fails for any reason, Conversive alerts you immediately and prevents sending a broken link.
- Desk and Bulk workflows now supported:
This link-generation experience is available in Converse Desk and Bulk sends (Templates/Automation are not included yet).
- Security-first file handling:
High-risk file types (e.g., .exe, .bat, .js, .sh, .dll) are blocked to protect recipients and ensure safe delivery.
How Teams Use This
- Marketing: Send campaign flyers to lists without running into MMS size or format limitations.
- Service (Desk): Share troubleshooting images or documents from Desk while staying in the same workflow.
- Operations (Bulk): Send onboarding packs in Bulk even when assets vary in size or format—without manual file prep.

Enforce state-level outbound controls for US/Canada messaging to reduce compliance risk.
If your organization operates across regions, you often need a governance layer that prevents accidental outreach into restricted areas. This update lets admins centrally enforce “where we can message” rules—without relying on training or manual checks.
How It Works in Conversive
State-Level Message Restrictions in Compliance Settings
A new section under Compliance Settings lets Customer Admins enable or disable messaging for any US or Canadian state.
Smart visibility based on your account setup
These controls appear only for accounts sending messages to the US or Canada, keeping the interface uncluttered for customers who don’t need regional restrictions.
Toggle-based control for each state
All states are listed with simple On/Off toggles (default: all states allowed), so admins can quickly disable one or multiple states based on internal policy or regulatory needs.
Built-in search and helpful tooltips
Search and tooltips make it easy to find a specific state and understand exactly what enabling or disabling a toggle will do.
Automatic blocking of outgoing messages to restricted states
If a state is disabled, any outbound message to a number whose area code maps to that state is blocked before it is sent.
Clear compliance logs for blocked messages
Message History explicitly records when a message is blocked due to the recipient’s state restriction, simplifying audits and troubleshooting.
Admin-only access and full audit trail
Only Customer Admins can modify state restrictions, and every change is recorded with the admin name, timestamp, and previous vs. new values for accountability.
Future-ready backend design
The system uses area-code mapping internally and is designed to support more granular controls in future releases (for example, area-code-level restrictions).
How Compliance Teams Use This
- Enforce state-level messaging rules across branches, franchises, or business units from a central admin team
- Restrict outbound outreach to specific states during policy updates or regulatory changes
- Standardize governance for distributed teams so regional rules don’t rely on manual checks
- Maintain an audit-ready record of when state restrictions were changed and by whom

Run multiple locations or business units? Get master-level visibility without leaving Conversive.
Franchises and multi-location operators often need a single, reliable view of performance across child accounts—without pulling reports from multiple places or stitching together manual dashboards. This update brings master-level analytics closer to daily operations.
How It Works in Conversive
- Dedicated “Analytics Dashboard” menu option
A new “Analytics Dashboard” menu item is now available exclusively for Master Accounts, providing a direct entry point to your integrated analytics environment.
Seamless access to your external dashboard
Clicking the menu option opens your embedded Metabase Analytics Dashboard—either in-app or in a new tab depending on the final UX—without any separate login or extra navigation.
Centralized insights inside Conversive
Master Admins can review reports, metrics, and dashboards as part of their everyday workflow, making it easier to monitor performance without context switching.
Visibility limited to Master Accounts
The Analytics Dashboard option is shown only to Master Account users; Child Accounts and standard users will not see the menu, ensuring clarity and proper access control.
Improved permission handling
Only authorized Master Account users can open and view the embedded Metabase dashboard, ensuring secure, role-based access to account-wide analytics.
How Teams Use This
- Franchises, multi-location businesses, and enterprises use the Analytics Dashboard to centralize oversight across a Master Account and related child accounts.
- Franchise HQ teams monitor messaging usage and adoption across franchisee locations to understand rollout and engagement.
- Central operations teams track regional trends to identify underperforming branches and prioritize enablement.
- Parent brands review account-level activity across sub-brands or business units to support governance and performance reporting.

Reduce friction in Salesforce-led messaging by avoiding duplicate consent checks.
In some setups, Salesforce is already the system of record for consent and enforces it before a message is sent. This update gives Admins cleaner control over consent management so they can align enforcement with their consent architecture, avoid conflicts between Salesforce consent enforcement and platform compliance logic, and support hybrid setups (for example, CRM + Marketing Cloud) where consent rules may differ across systems..
How It Works in Conversive
- A new checkbox under Consent Settings: “Platform Consent Check for Messages Sent from Salesforce”
Admins now have a dedicated checkbox in Consent Settings to control whether the platform applies consent validation to messages initiated from Salesforce.
- Visible only for Salesforce-connected accounts
The checkbox is shown only when your Conversive account is connected to Salesforce, so the setting appears only where it is relevant.
Default: ON (current behavior)
By default, the checkbox is enabled—meaning Conversive continues validating consent for Salesforce-originated messages as it does today.
Checked vs. unchecked behavior
When checked, the platform continues to validate consent for messages sent from Salesforce. When unchecked, the platform skips consent validation for Salesforce-originated messages.
Admin-only governance with a full audit trail
Every change to this setting is audit logged with the admin user name, timestamp, and previous vs. new values—supporting accountability and compliance reviews.
How Teams Use This
- Salesforce-connected organizations align consent enforcement to their existing Salesforce controls—reducing “double gating” when Salesforce already blocks non-consented sends.
- Admin teams managing hybrid consent models apply explicit control over how consent is handled for Salesforce-originated messages versus other systems and workflows.
- Compliance and operations teams maintain an audit-ready trail of when consent enforcement settings were changed, by whom, and what values were updated.

How It Works in Conversive
- Native Conversive Inbox embedded inside Creatio
Conversive Inbox is now fully available within the Creatio interface, delivering a seamless in-CRM messaging experience.
- View and reply to conversations in one place
Agents can manage messages, reply to customers, and view conversation history directly in Creatio—without switching tabs or applications.
- Improved workflow efficiency
Keeping conversations inside Creatio reduces context switching and helps teams respond to customers faster.
How Teams Use This
- Creatio-based sales and service teams work from a single workspace for CRM actions and customer messaging, improving response times and reducing missed messages.
- Service teams resolve cases while continuing the customer thread within the same Creatio workspace.
- Sales teams follow up on leads with full conversation history visible alongside CRM records.
- Operations teams handle confirmations and updates without switching between multiple tabs or tools.

New: Microsoft Dynamics CRM integration with embedded Conversive Inbox
Conversive is now available inside Microsoft Dynamics CRM, enabling teams to manage customer conversations directly within Dynamics. This reduces context switching and helps teams follow up faster by keeping messaging in the same workspace as CRM activity.
How It Works in Conversive
- Native Inbox embedded within Dynamics
The full Conversive Inbox is now available inside Microsoft Dynamics CRM, giving teams a single place within Dynamics to view and respond to customer conversations.
- End-to-end conversation management
Agents can read messages, reply, view conversation history, and manage customer interactions end-to-end—seamlessly inside Dynamics.
- Better efficiency and reduced context switching
With messaging and CRM work in one interface, teams no longer need to switch between platforms to keep conversations moving.
How Teams Use This
- Dynamics CRM users embed messaging into everyday CRM workflows so customer-facing teams can move faster with consistent context across interactions.
- Service teams manage ongoing customer threads alongside cases in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Sales teams run timely follow-ups tied directly to opportunities and account records.

A smoother portal experience for managing your account, scaling usage, and completing payments reliably.
We’ve improved the SMS-Magic portal so customers can take the right next step—whether starting out, upgrading from trial, or expanding usage—without confusion, ineligible options, or avoidable checkout errors. The experience is now more guided, more accurate for your account, and more reliable end-to-end.
A smarter, more guided portal experience based on your status
- The portal adapts automatically so you see the most relevant next steps and only the options that apply to you.
- Not logged in: You’re prompted to log in or sign up (including regional data center selection) before proceeding.
- Trial users: You can compare plans, select add-ons, and move to a full subscription to unlock complete features.
- Existing paying customers: Your current plan is clearly shown, and you see only add-ons/credits eligible for your subscription—no irrelevant options.
Faster trial upgrades with accurate pricing and instant activation
- Trial users see CRM-matched pricing (Salesforce, Zoho, Portal).
- Currency is shown accurately based on the country.
- You can select a plan and compatible add-ons, complete a streamlined payment flow, and receive instant provisioning after payment success.
- Your trial account converts into a paid subscription with purchased licenses/credits activated.
Cleaner expansion for paying customers (credits/add-ons that fit your subscription)
- Existing customers can purchase additional licenses, credits, or add-ons that are valid for their plan.
- The portal surfaces only products eligible for your subscription and CRM, reducing dead ends and accidental mismatches.
- If your plan isn’t part of current active tiers, you can still buy credits, but you’re restricted from new plans or add-ons to prevent subscription conflicts.
Protection from accidental duplicate checkouts
- If a subscription purchase is already in progress, you’ll be prompted to wait rather than starting a second checkout—helping avoid duplicate provisioning and billing confusion.
Clearer controls for saving payment methods
- The first card you add is saved for renewal, with a clear message shown before payment.
- For additional cards, you can choose whether to save them for future payments using a checkbox—giving you explicit control over stored payment methods.
More accurate multi-currency behavior
- Country–currency–plan mappings are served dynamically through an updated API.
- European countries correctly default to EUR.
- Plans, licenses, and currency combinations load based on your location/selection to reduce inconsistencies.
Reliability and usability improvements across checkout
- Blank cart fix: If a session expires, you’re redirected instead of seeing an empty cart.
- CVV masking: CVV is always hidden for privacy.
- Footer improvements: Social icons added, Global Messaging link fixed, Salesforce AppExchange & Zoho Marketplace links added.
- No accidental popup blocking: The email/account ID popup no longer locks the page behind it.
How Teams Use This
- Trial teams convert to paid faster with fewer steps, CRM-matched pricing/currency, and immediate activation after payment—so purchased entitlements are available right away.
- Growing teams expand usage (credits/licenses/add-ons) with confidence because the portal surfaces only eligible options for their subscription, reducing ineligible selections and subscription conflicts.
- Global teams complete purchases with more consistent multi-currency behavior (including correct EUR defaults), resulting in fewer pricing and checkout inconsistencies.
- Admin and operations teams spend less time on purchase-related troubleshooting—such as failed checkouts, empty-cart/session issues, or duplicate purchase attempts—thanks to stronger safeguards and a more reliable flow.

New: Smart URL Handling in Merge Fields
Outgoing messages that pull URLs from merge fields often end up longer than expected, harder to read, or split into multiple parts when they cause character limits to exceed. This update fixes that.
What’s New:
The system now shortens any URL found inside a merge field at send-time, keeping your messages clean and predictable across SMS and WhatsApp—regardless of whether they’re sent individually, in bulk, or through automation.
- Cleaner messages: No long URLs breaking readability.
- Optimized messaging cost: Short links keep SMS/WhatsApp messages from exceeding character length unexpectedly.
- Consistent behavior across all send paths: Works the same in single-send, bulk, and automations, as well as merge fields in templated and free-form messages.
- Accurate tracking: Tracking parameters remain intact so attribution, analytics, and campaign reporting stay accurate.
- Merge fields without URLs send normally with no modification.
If you’re already using URL shortening, this is enabled by default. If not, connect with your CSM or drop us a line at care@conversive.ai
This update ensures your messages stay within character limits, avoid delivery issues, and look more professional without requiring any manual cleanup or external tools. See how it works → .
