# AI Expert User Guide

This guide is for the people who design, build, and manage AI on Conversive. That might be an automation specialist, a CX or operations lead, or anyone responsible for making AI conversations accurate, on-brand, and useful.

If you’re setting up AI agents for your team or deciding where AI fits in your customer conversations, start here.

### What you can do

**Conversive Intelligence:**  Surfaces insights from your conversations, such as intent, sentiment, and trends.

**Chat Agent:** An AI agent that holds text conversations with your customers on your messaging channels. It answers questions, qualifies leads, and hands off to your team when needed.

**Voice Agent:** An AI agent that handles phone conversations, understanding natural speech and responding in a natural voice.

### Before you begin

Make sure you have:

* **Admin access, or AI feature permission.** An admin can grant this under Feature Permission in Account Settings.
* **At least one connected channel.** See Integrations > Channels in the Admin User Guide.
* **Approved compliance registrations for your region**, such as A2P 10DLC in the US or DLT in India. See Compliance Setup in Setup Guides.
